Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Next sessions, Mondays: September 7, 14, 21, 28, 2026 (please note, no session on September 7 [holiday], will be held at Gazebo near Emily Street, Kingston ON, since Crave Cafe closes at 6 pm on that day).
The Gazebo near Emily Street is known as the historic Newlands Pavilion: large stone open air gazebo on the grass right where Emily Street meets the lake, in Macdonald Memorial Park and next to Richardson Beach and Murney Tower, across the street from Kingston General Hospital (KGH). if you turn into Emily Street towards the lake, go to the end, you will see the gazebo on your right.
Whether you are an emerging writer or seasoned and interested in writing prose, poetry, even academic writing, or if you are curious about the group or writing, journaling, this group is for you. We
meet, write together, share thoughts about writing and publishing. We are forming a writing group of sorts!
