Listening
Imagine you are sitting
outside a cafe in Paris.
You hear the bustle
and hustle
of those hurried
and harried.
You settle.
No longer weary.
Sounds become
a beautiful symphony.
As they enter your body,
you start listening,
not hearing.
Like the earth
and sky,
you welcome all
and grasp
nothing.
